The president of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, considers the stability pact between JxSí and CUP to be over after the anti-capitalist party refused to pass the budget in the Catalan parliament.
Parliamentary sources told Europa Press that this is what he said in a meeting held on Wednesday with MPs from JxSí before beginning the plenary session about the budget.
He also stated that it is “a turning point and that it will have consequences“, that they will not sell themselves to anyone and that they are working for independence.
